FAVOURITES

Favourite games

Star the games you play most and they jump to the front across the app — the home page, the games hub, the navbar, and leaderboard filters — each marked with a ★. It's a per-account setting, so it follows you across devices. Sign in to use it.

Managing your favourites

  • Open Profile → Favourite Games (also in the user menu). Tap the ★ on any game to add or remove it.
  • Reorder your favourites by dragging the handle, or with the up/down arrows — the order is exactly how they appear everywhere else.
  • Changes save instantly and apply across the app and your other devices.
  • If you have no favourites yet, everything shows in its default order — nothing is hidden.

Where favourites appear

Home page

The games grid puts your favourites first, each marked with a ★.

Games hub

The /games page lists favourites first (and stars them) on desktop and mobile.

Navbar

The Games menu reorders favourites to the top of the list.

Leaderboard filters

The game picker on leaderboards surfaces your favourites first.

The Achievements page is the one exception — it's organised by achievement category rather than by game, so it isn't reordered by favourites.

How the order is decided

Precedence: admin override → your favourites → default order
  • Admin override. ExtraTime can pin a specific global game order (e.g. to promote a new game). When set, it takes precedence for everyone — even over your own favourites.
  • Your favourites. Otherwise, your starred games come first, in the order you set.
  • Default order. With no override and no favourites, games show in their standard order. Empty or stale favourites never break anything — they just fall back to the default.

Favourites vs URL hooks

Favourites personalise the UI (which games appear first, and where). The URL hooks are the other half of personalisation: bookmarkable deep-links that autostart a specific game or mode. Use favourites to shape your home screen, and hooks to jump straight into a game.
