The Scout is a football knowledge game where you identify a mystery footballer by submitting guesses. Each guess reveals a proximity rank showing how close you are. You can purchase Scouting Intel on any guess to see an 8-dimension radar chart, or buy Dossier clues to narrow down the target.

How do I play The Scout?

You start with a 1,000M scouting budget. Search for a footballer and submit your guess — the game reveals a proximity rank (e.g. 12th closest out of 4,500). Purchase Scouting Intel to see a radar breakdown across 8 dimensions like Birth Year, Nation, League, and Club. Use Dossier clues for hints about the target. Keep guessing until you find the target or run out of budget.

How does the leaderboard work in The Scout?

Every successful identification adds the footballer to your scouted collection. Your leaderboard ranking is based on total unique footballers you have successfully identified. Play daily challenges and random missions to grow your collection and climb the rankings.

How does the budget system work in The Scout?

You start with 1,000M budget. Your first guess is free, and guesses in the top 10% of the pool by proximity are also free. Other guesses cost a variable amount based on rank proximity, overlap with previous guesses, and a random factor that emulates real-world scouting unpredictability. Scouting Intel and Dossier clues also cost budget with their own random variance. You can buy intel and a dossier clue in the same round — they don't block each other.

Is there a daily challenge in The Scout?

Yes! The Scout features a daily challenge with the same mystery target for all players. Try it once per day and compare your performance. Daily challenges are available to everyone, even without an account.
